I have a particle board bookcase that has an ultra thin woodgrain veneer that is shiny, slick and glossy. What should I do to prepare the surface for painting?

    For darker wood color paint to lightly sand it if your looking for darker wood color paint to paint it before you attempt to take the magic word.
