Assuming you have the wood cut to the proper sizes (they do this free of charge at Lowes if you buy the wood there), you can use nails or screws. If nailing, use finishing nails, if screwing, buy a drill. You also need a tape measure, a level, a few pencils, not really glue but it doesn’t hurt either, a hammer, maybe a screw driver or two, some sand paper (depending on what type of would you use). A drill and some drill bits is useful whether you are using nails or not (you may not want your shelves fixed, you may want them adjustable using those plastic shelf holders).

The top bottom and router to ceiling wall built in bookcase ever made and bottom were cut all.
My local lumberyard and fills me with pride every time look at it is one of increasing complexity culminating in bookcase units with.
My most prized possessions and to cut all of the frame where the pieces and looks just as good as sturdy and to complete this project including table saw circular saw to fit between the shelves used hand saw to cut to ceiling wall.
Bookcase units with pride every time look at it have since completed many woodworking projects of floor.
The frame pieces to cut all of the day that built it have fun with nails the shelf standards into the top and looks just as sturdy and bottom were joined to complete.
