Repainting bookcase - I’ve got sealant questions?

I’ve repainted my book case white. I the last coat is a white interior latex paint (water base). I need to add a sealant. I’ve got a water based polycryclic, clear satin protective finish. It’s in a can. Is this the correct sealant?
