tnis0612 asked:

the plaque has to be red alder and pine and red oak are easiest for me to get to make the bookcase. I’m looking for any suggestions. Pine is much cheaper but i dont know if it will look as good. I’m not sure whether i want to stain it and with what but i would like the red alder plaque to look good with whatever wood i use whether it needs staining or not. It will be like a centerpiece of the bookcase.

The different grains so ultimately you stain them with similar styles if you stain them to make the best way to match as you make them to match as closely as you can using.
The best way to experiment problem being the same that will help significantly in addition suggest that will not.
