babypeanut asked:

I am sure that it would be a pain in the ass. I just want to make the experience less painful. My boyfriend and I are going to rent a top floor old tenement flat in Edinburgh. Spiral staircase is the “heritage” of local tenement. Fortunately we’ll be moving in a fully furnished flat. Therefore we don’t really have many furnitures to move. However we do have a bookcase, a few big suitcases and hi-fi equipments. Can anybody share their experience of moving furnitures up the hellish spiral staircase safely and less painfully?

      Hello,

You will sweat, but don’t fret.

Hire a mover and save your back. It’s worth parting with a little cash.
