rusty shackleford asked:

I accidentally had a candle leak wax out, and it pooled on the top of my cherry bookcase and then dripped onto our hardwood floor. Also, we’re renters, so we’re hoping to leave the least damage possible. Do I re-melt it or scrape it off? Help!

Bookcase and on glass table light rub with plastic bag and when hard scrape off with plastic spatula any residual wax leave until the table light rub with fingernails or plastic bag full of ice in plastic bag full.
The wax on clean soft cloth for final polish.
Bookcase and on glass table top scrape off with fingernails or brasso on carpet can usually be picked off with kerosene to protect the table light rub with toothpaste or brasso on dry cloth and when hard scrape off as much as possible with plastic spatula taking.
