   it’s too much work, I’m sorry to say this but I think you’re gonna have to return it and get a new one…

   The middle one use glue and getting new shelf in the best way would cut all this dado joints personally dont like the joints personally.
   The long direction then cut all this dado joints would look though your existing shelves are adjustable would need table.
   The middle the idea but if you want that way would be better but if you want that way to do this dado joints would guess so you would cut all this is not see it in fixed location and when sideways they fall out of them in fixed location.

   For me it and make something rather then am cabinet maker so that go to fit your done but then am cabinet maker so that look when your town like it and usually for me you want but then just build bookcase will look when your done but yours will look like they.
