Several attributes unique to our technology are responsible for its seamless adaptability to multiple library shelf lighting applications. Adjustable shelf lights, specifically designed for new construction build outs, are engineered as wireless luminaires. A simple combination of patented buss bars, highly conductive metal shelf supports, and brass contact pads connected to the linear fixtures replace the need for standard wiring. Buss bars are patented metal conduits that embed flush in the external sides of bookcases and cabinets. Screw holes are located in the buss bars at close intervals that allow shelf supports to be mounted at any desired height within the cabinet. The linear fixtures are hidden behind the front reveal of each shelf, and the contact pads are connected to both ends of each lighting strip.
