I know this will depend on so many things–type of wood, size, height, and depth of shelving. Some examples would be useful. I need to come up with some home improvement estimates for a lender quickly, and local contractors are not getting back to me as quickly as I’d like.

Here’s what I’m imagining…
- Two book cases built into the wall, separated in the middle by an existing window.
- 9 feet to the ceiling
- 4 feet wide, for each bookcase

My time was about 20 hours without finishing add another 10 hours for the two could be.
For the two could be much more though depending on wood species and complexity.
